Dr. Kenn and Dr. Deborah Gordon are the founding co-pastors of Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna. The Gordons began their Science of Mind studies in 1986, taking classes and ministerial training in Palm Desert, California. Once they graduated, their vision was to bring the Science of Mind teaching to their hometown and the Okanagan region, and in 1993 they did just that. Their vision has created a community that is now the spiritual home to more than 500 like-minded people taking part in Sunday services, classes and workshops.
As gifted and inspiring speakers, devoted teachers and spiritual counsellors, the Gordons’ commitment to serving others extends far beyond the geographical boundaries of their Centre.
Dr. Kenn is the president of the International Centers for Spiritual Living, having served in numerous capacities on the board of directors since 1999. In 2005 he was named Minister of the Year and received his Doctorate of Humanities.
Dr. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and since the early 2000s has co-chaired the International organization's annual one-week conference attended by more than 700 delegates from around North America. She currently serves on the International Centers for Spiritual Living Department of Education committee.

Staff Minister, Music & Artistic Director
Rev. Barb is the Centre for Spiritual Living – Kelowna’s music and artistic director, a position she has held since 2005, and it’s no surprise. Barb’s first exposure to Science of Mind literally came through music. In 1998 she was given an inspirational CD by Ricki Byars-Beckwith. But it took until 2003 when she moved to Kelowna to find a community of like-minded people. She became a minister in 2008, leads the house band Sista B and The Boyz, and oversees all the music direction including choir and the children’s musical conservatory. Outside the centre, she works as a full-time vocal instructor and professional singer.

After journeying through traditional Christianity (both Catholic and Protestant), and various Eastern philosophies she gave it all up for journalism. But Spirit wasn’t finished with her yet, and in the late 1990s she landed at Centre for Spiritual Living Kelowna. In 2008 she completed her formal studies to become a minister where she specializes in creative expression.
